Marty’s Smart Way GmbH At Smart Way To Start, we are committed to conducting business in a way that is ethical, sustainable, and beneficial to society. As a small business, we recognize our responsibility to contribute positively to the environment, our community, and the well-being of all stakeholders.

Our CSR Commitments

1. Environmental Sustainability

We aim to minimize our environmental footprint by:  
- Working with printers who uphold sustainability standards in the printing industry and seek to minimize negative impact.
- Reducing waste and promoting recycling within our operations.  
- Using energy-efficient technologies and sustainable resources where possible.  
- Supporting initiatives that combat climate change, such as TreeSisters, with whine we have already supported the planting of 5000 trees.

2. Community Engagement

We strive to make a positive impact in the communities where we operate by:  
  - Supporting local businesses and female-led organizations through partnerships and collaborations.
  - Volunteering for local women’s networks
  - Contributing our book 5, A SMART WAY TO START DOING GOOD, to teaching children and parents alike the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. This book has been published by the United Nations under the title “START DOUNG GOOD” and is available as ebook for free to all. We have also sponsored a Swahili translation of the book and a localized version illustrated by a Kenyan artist, which was launched in Kenya in 2022 in collaboration with the University of Nairobi. We want children far and wide to know that the SDGs are not only goals, but they are rights, so we can shape a better future for our children!
